Privacy Policy / Repair Terms

Last updated: May 29, 2026

This page explains how Vanced Technical Solutions handles repair intake information and the basic terms that apply when you submit a computer support or repair request. This page is meant to set clear expectations. It is not legal advice.

Information We Collect

When you submit a help request, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, device brand/model, serial number if provided, issue description, repair notes, status updates, uploaded pictures/files, and related support history.

Do not submit device passwords, account passwords, recovery keys, payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive credentials through the help form.

How We Use Your Information

We use repair request information to review your issue, contact you about the request, diagnose the device, provide recommendations or estimates, document repair work, and connect the request to billing or invoice records when needed.

Repair-related emails, phone calls, or text messages are used to manage the request you submitted. Marketing messages, if any, should be handled separately and should not rely on the repair intake checkbox.

Repair Authorization

By submitting a repair request, you authorize Vanced Technical Solutions to review the request, inspect the device or information you provide, and contact you with next steps. Paid repair work, parts purchases, or invoice payment terms may require separate approval before work proceeds.

Data Backup and Risk of Data Loss

You are responsible for backing up your data before service whenever possible. Diagnostics, repairs, malware removal, operating system repair, storage device testing, hardware failure, or data recovery attempts can involve risk of data loss. Vanced Technical Solutions is not responsible for pre-existing issues, failing hardware, corrupted data, or unbacked-up data.

Estimates, Invoices, and Payment

Submitting a help request does not automatically approve paid work. Estimates, approvals, invoices, and payment links may be handled separately through Vanced Technical Solutions billing tools, including Ninja Invoice.

Uploaded Pictures and Files

Uploaded pictures and files should relate only to the repair issue. Do not upload passwords, private documents, financial records, or unrelated personal information unless specifically requested and necessary for the repair.

Cookies

The website may use essential WordPress, security, session, cache, or form-related cookies needed for the site and help form to work. If analytics, advertising, retargeting, or other non-essential tracking is added, the cookie notice and consent process should be updated.

Information Retention

Repair request records may be retained as needed for customer support, repair history, billing, tax, security, fraud prevention, and business recordkeeping. You may contact Vanced Technical Solutions to ask about correction or deletion of personal information, subject to business, legal, security, and recordkeeping needs.
